My eternal gratitude for Malta Vet for getting me in at extremely short notice. Very professional, with a good atmosphere that instantly makes you comfortable. Staff are responsive to questions and matter of fact. My dog - who can be a bit shy, INSTANTLY warmed up to him! Maps has the location a bit dodgy, however - it is the first building BEFORE the cemetery.

We have been using Malta Veterinary Hospital for multiple family dogs and have always had a great experience. A couple of times we have had our dog attacked by other dogs and was able to come in to have her checked out the same day. Yearly checkups have also been similar. Always friendly staff and you get in to see the vet when your appointment is scheduled. Great for someone who is very busy.

We took a stray cat to this Veterinary Clinic to check for a microchip. While they were nice enough to take her in since we already are at our pet limit per our town ordinance and we also didn't know if she was healthy enough to bring in our home, they become a nightmare. They took our information, but they did not contact us. We called this morning to check on her and they became uncooperative and said unless we claimed her and paid board, they would give us no information. If they had advised us of this when we initially brought her in, we would have taken her to a more trusting local rescue.
This place was deceitful, not forthcoming. My main concern was the cats safety and now I wonder what these people will do to this lost cat. My own animals will never be taken here.
